Jakarta-based indie rock outfit Jirapah has produced a new song ‘Crowns’, solely inspired by Indonesian artist-cum-filmmaker Anggun Priambodo’s directorial debut ‘Rocket Rain’. The song, along with other features from artists including Frigi Frigi, Sajama Cut, White Shoes & The Couple’s Company, Zeke Khaseli, and The Kuda is part of the ‘Original Soundtracks And Music Inspired By Rocket Rain’ album. The album compromises of songs featured in the film along with songs that are inspired by the film itself.

‘Crowns’ is the first single from the album and the film director himself, Priambodo, has created a fantastic video featuring footages of a vintage Sundanese wedding ceremony to accompany the soothing quality of the song. According to Harlan Boer – artist and repertoire of Sekuntum Records, the criteria when choosing artists to be featured in the OST was of musicians who carry the alternative pop sentiment and an attitude that fit the film, and of musicians who also happen to be preparing for a wedding, married, or divorced.
