Malaysian power poppers Couple adds another feather to their cap by having their song “Now That I Can See” featured in US indie movie SUPER, directed by James Gunn (of Slither, Humanzee and PG-Porn fame). It’s another one of those real-people-dons-superhero-costume movies like Kick-Ass and Defendor, but judging from the trailer and the reviews it’s been getting from screenings at film festivals, this movie goes in a goofier and more darkly realistic direction than others that have come before it.

The movie stars Rainn Wilson (aka Dwight from The Office), Ellen Page (Juno, Inception), Liv Tyler (Armageddon, Empire Records), Kevin Bacon, and a whole host of cult favourites like Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Michael Rooker and more. Distributed by IFC Films in the USA, the film opens on 1st April 2011 in New York and Los Angeles, gradually expanding across the USA afterwards. Check out the US playdates here. The film’s soundtrack CD will be released by Lakeshore Records. Watch the trailer below.
