Indonesian producer, Kareem Soenharjo, has released music across various monikers. From experimental rock under BAPAK, hip hop under BAP., and more instrumental works with yosugi.
But the thing that ties all of these projects together is experimentation within the genre itself.
With his latest, “SAME SHOES, NO COMPANY”, Kareem samples White Shoes & The Couples Company song “Kisah Dari Selatan Jakarta” enough that you’d recognize the guitar riff, but makes it totally his own.
