Jakarta based indie-rock quartet Bedchamber makes a comeback with a new single, “Tired Eyes”, under new label LaMunai Records.
“Tired Eyes” is the band’s first release since their critically-acclaimed 2018 album Geography. It deals with the ironies of work culture in urban cities, drawing on the personal experiences of vocalist/guitarist Ratta.
It’s about “that brief moment of realization that [you’ve been doing] something wrong all this time … and you’re helplessly back doing the same thing all over again”, in his words—an all-too-relatable existential crisis expressed through driving, post-punk-inflected indie rock.
