I first came across Pullo at one of the stages at Soundrenaline Festival 2018 under the hot afternoon sun of Bali, Indonesia. In that context, this goth / post-punk band from Medan, Indonesia, caught me off guard with their all-black attire (it was really hot) and dark demeanor and ripped through their set with frontman Rally Jachmoon singing and walking amongst the crowd with a sinister grin across his face.
With a good mix of mechanical post-punk drumming, dark and reverbed guitar licks, a driving bass line, and topped off by Rally’s baritone voice, listening “Around The Bed” is a good introduction to the band. The single was released in 2018 by rising Indonesian record label, Hema Records.
