Tangerang-based indie sextet The Cat Police have returned after a few lineup changes and a “reconstruction” with a double single release.
“Like No Other Do” is a catchy reminder that we “can never be truly alone” and features the talents of a three-piece brass section. “The Room With Large Paintings”, on the other hand, is a response to the work of Malang-based visual artist Jovian Fraaije.
The double single is the band’s follow-up to their 2019 EP Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall. The Cat Police debuted on the scene in 2016 with their full-length Tropical Industries.
