US-based Malaysian sweetheart Zee Avi‘s second album Ghostbird is just around the corner now, and she recently premiered the video for her sweet new single The Book Of Morris Johnson, which you can watch below. A whimsical and trippy visual treat (complete with some tastefully done CGI effects), the Graceland by way of Vampire Weekend sounding tribal elements (calypso to be more precise) in the single points to an interesting new twist to her sound this time around, so here’s hoping that a fabulous 2nd album is awaiting us when it’s released.
