#71 The Experience Brothers

Some people say it takes a handful of band members to tear a stage apart, but it’s safe to say that no longer takes the cake. A no-brainer, we’ve got two-piece bands like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, and Japandroids, just to name a few. Bekasi, based duo The Experience Brothers join the pigeonhole with their effortless charm, presence, and ability to show such liberation and organically deliver refined rock and roll with just the use of one another.

Formed in 2001, Daud and Ibrahim joined forces and with a little help and inspiration from ‘The Jimi Hendrix Experience’, The Experience Brothers was formed. With just a lead guitar and a set of drums, it’s enough for the brothers to deliver and radiate such infectious profusion of charisma and soul. Their relationship as brothers surely comes as a perk as you can really see that sturdy bond when they perform, constantly exuding that solid rock demeanor despite just being a two-piece band.

Dubbed as “modern psychedelic blues rock”, the brothers are your go-to guys for your psyche that was long lost in the era of the 60s and 70s with the generation’s defining musicians like Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Who, and Led Zeppelin who all happen to be The Experience Brothers’ source of inspiration and shape makers of their music.

The Experience Brothers have just released their 3rd studio album ‘From The Deepest Growl’ with their debut single ‘Young, Wild And Free’. Get updated with everything you need to know about the brothers on their Facebook page.
