One of the first festivals to feature independent bands here in Malaysia, Rock The World is back to end the festival season in 2012, here in Malaysia. Boasting over 40 bands across 3 stages, this year’s lineup features a mixed bag muzos across the genre spectrum, hosted at Padang Merbok, just at the fringe of Kuala Lumpur city.
The 3 stages (a Main Stage, Noisy Stage and Indie Pop Stage) will feature big names such as OAG, Love Me Butch, Cassandra, Couple, Khottal, Massacre Conspiracy, Darren Ashley, Damn Dirty Apes and many more.
This year, Rock The World is giving an opportunity to newer bands to share the stage with more established acts through their ‘Rock The World Jamming Tour’ covering 6 states across Malaysia. They were in Penang and Perak last weekend, and will be in Johor, Melaka, Subang Jaya and KL in the next coming weeks. Follow their FB page to find out more.
