From the folks that brought you Laneway Festival SG 2011, The Drums will be performing live at St James Power Station in Singapore this coming Monday 16th of May 2011. The NYC trio (their 4th member, Adam Kessler left the band sometime last year) created waves off buzz all over the world wide web in 2009 with their EP Summertime! and 2k9 summer anthem Let’s Go Surfing.
Having released their new single “The New World” about a month ago, this would be their debut visit to Asia after their US tour and sold out dates across Australia.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are going for SG$65 a pop (includes 1 drink), available through Sistic.
Oh and the organizers, Chugg Entertainment, says that this will be the start of a series of events where they’ll bring in pitchfork-esque bands. Style!
