KL-based post hardcore outfit, Tres Empre was brought into being in 2010 by Eddie (vocals) and Azrul (guitar) thus completing the formation along with three other members – Bazz (guitar), Bert (bass) and Masrour (drums). Recently, these roaring tigers have played in Osaka during Macbeth Transit show alongside other local acts including Love Me Butch and Massacre Conspiracy. Their A-list resume shows that other than having performed abroad, Tres Empre had successfully become the opening act for their biggest influence, Underoath back in 2012. They also kicked off the stage for Architects live in Singapore, Circa Survive and Coheed & Cambria live in KL.
Still filling up most weekends actively performing for shows, these lads took up what seemed like the proactive route to come out with new stuff and keeping themselves fresh in the scene. Currently finalizing their debut album, we sneak a hint on how it’s going to be like. A lot of fresh elements in both sound and lyrical content will surround the album packed with 10 tracks of mostly brand new unreleased songs. Plus, it’s going to be their first ever attempt of Malay song. Despite the freshness they tend to bring in, Tres Empre still keep their original musical style as their main reference. We are glad to say that this band is one of the proofs showing Malaysian music scene is on the rise.
So go get your headphones ready or if you prefer to blast it out loud on your speakers, either way come and kick start your day by watching their energetic performance accompanied by strong, fresh beats that will definitely electrify your senses.
