There are 3 more days of screenings left in the first instalment of Punk Rock Film Week, a free event curated by people in the local DIY punk scene which has seen screenings of The Taqwacores documentary amongst other things already. This coming weekend will see the screening of the now quite rare Urgh! A Music War concert film, capturing the tail end of the post-punk explosion, whilst Saturday and Sunday will see documentaries on Punk in South East Asia and the Riot Grrl scene respectively. Screenings start at 8pm on the respective days at No. 50B, Jalan Kemuja, Bangsar Utama (shophouse next to Bangsar LRT Station)(2nd Floor above B.Y. Air-Con & Car Service Centre), Kuala Lumpur.
