Hailing from the southern city of Johor Bahru, three-piece pop-punk unit Eleventh Avenue comprises of Nazrin (guitars + vocals), Anep (bass + vocals) and Pozy (drums)
Eleventh Avenue (EA) was formed in 2010 as a side project from a ska-punk band the three were also in at the time; in a way, EA is an outlet for the guys to channel their pop-punk creativities and ideas, without having to disrupt their main band’s direction.
They’re influenced by bands like Netral, Closehead and others from the Indonesian pop-punk scene. But they also see EA as a way to go back to their roots, back to the reason they started out playing music in the first place – for the enjoyment that it brings.
