Out of nowhere we stumbled upon this wonderful gem of a Singaporean (but now London-based) pop act calling herself Sharliza Jelita (how can you not like that name?). Describing her music as sounding like a cross between Hot Chip, Stereolab and Sesame Street, which is not far off the mark, we’d probably also add in a bit of The Pipettes into the mix, judging from her incredibly infectious single “No Go Pogo”.
