Boni Putera, Titi Juwariyah and Bambang ‘Ho’ Mulyono, the street musicians of Jalanan (a feature-length Indonesian documentary film directed and produced by Daniel Ziv) were in town last September for the movie screening as part of Freedom Film Festival which took place in Kafe Old Market. Boni, Ho and Titi lent their unconventional, blunt singing style to the movie’s soundtrack with their original compositions which exuded enough charm and absurdity to keep us entertained.
