As lite as the name, that’s how we shall briefly describe the sound of this duo. Consisting of Eff Hakim and Mohd Faliq, the KL-based duo has been the talk of the town as of late. Though being relatively new to the scene, they’ve managed to nail some gigs in the home ground and even at Urbanscapes Festival and Singapore, with their profound sound of electro pop cracking the sound waves.
Above all, the duo has announced that they’re in the midst of recording their very own debut album, which is predicted to be released around mid of this year. Backed by Eff’s soothing yet distinctive vocals, their music flows smoothly and sounding very sleek, despite being structured by thumping electrifying synth beats of Faliq’s. The opening guitar lines x ambient synth sounds on “Gold” is a catch, but somehow the track doesn’t really pick up from there and we wish the final mix had a little more depth in it.
